Sharing knowledge and passion for metabolic health.

Even as a child, Andy suffered from lack of energy. He was diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) at the age of 10, developed chronic sleep problems, and even depression. As a teenager, he was barely passing high school and, even worse, he didn’t care. His mental issues made him believe he was a loser, and he didn’t see the point of anything.

But then something changed. Andy got sick of being sick. He was tired of feeling average and dwelling in the negativity and self-loathing. This motivated him to learn about nutrition and start eating better. Then he started exercising and challenging his mind and body. Instead of feeling like a victim, he became proactive and embodied positive change.

While pursing a degree in environmental studies, due to his love and appreciation of nature, Andy was motivated by the subjects he studied, including social justice and food-system theories. Though he enjoyed his field of study, he felt something was lacking. Once he discovered the department of Holistic Health and Wellness Education, he changed gears and headed down a new path. Here he learned about eastern and western medicine modalities, neuro- and biofeedback, as well as philosophy.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, Holistic Health and Wellness Education, Andy knew he had found his purpose. He continued to pursue his education and interest in preventative health and empowered healing, becoming certified as a trainer, life coach, and nutritional consultant.

All of this has brought Andy to where he is today: sharing his knowledge and passion for metabolic health with those seeking to find it.
